New accreditation scheme for persons certification bodies
The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) is working to launch an accreditation scheme for persons certification bodies in collaboration with Pest Control Section of Public Health Services Department of Dubai Municipality. The main accreditation criteria ISO 17024 and the scheme is in the field of “Pest Control” for following certifications:
- Pest Control Operator Certification
- Pest Control Supervisor Certification
The relevant regulation applicable to this sector is Local Order 11 of 2003.
EIAC has already received interest from the stakeholders for this scheme.
Certification bodies and stakeholders are invited to provide input for the scheme.
