EIAC’s new accreditation schemes
The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) has launched the following new accreditation schemes.
- ISO/IEC 17029 accreditation for Validation/Verification Bodies
- ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation for Health & Safety Officers (HSO) Working in Laborers’ Accommodations
- ISO/IEC 17021-1 accreditation for ISO 13485-Medical Device Quality Management Systems
For these new schemes following EIAC requirements have been issued/amended:
- Accreditation Requirements for Validation/Verification Bodies (EIAC-RQ-CB-011, Issue 1, Revision 0).
- Accreditation requirements for Certification Bodies Providing Certifications to Health and Safety Officers Working in Laborers’ Accommodations (EIAC-RQ-CB-012, Issue 1, Revision 0).
- Accreditation requirements for Certification Bodies of Management Systems Certifications (EIAC-RQ-CB-001, Issue 2, Revision 2).
